Kia, the country’s biggest vehicle brand, has named Shatu Garko, the current Miss Nigeria Queen, as its brand ambassador. Shatu’s brand ambassadorship with Kia Nigeria began with the introduction ceremony. The introduction and handover ceremony was organized at the Kia Showroom, Adeola Odeku, Lagos, and indicates the beginning of Shatu’s brand ambassadorship with Kia Nigeria.
Kia Nigeria and Folio Media Group, the Miss Nigeria organizers, came into a collaboration with the goal of empowering young women through the beauty pageant, which aligns with the collaboration’s goal of aiding young women across the country. In keeping with Kia’s new brand motto, ‘Movement that Inspires,’ the partnership with Miss Nigeria aims to give a platform for young girls to be inspired to achieve greatness and realize their goals.
Kia Nigeria stated that Miss Nigeria is a beauty pageant for young Nigerian women with the goal of pushing them to the next level in all areas. It will continue to support programmes that promote female empowerment since it is one of the ways it gives back to society and one of the reasons it is here. This collaboration is one of the ways it is working toward its CSR goals, and it is honored to have Shatu Garko, the 44th Miss Nigeria Queen, as our brand ambassador.
