Bilquis Bano Edhi, the wife of deceased Abdul Sattar Edhi, died at the age of 74. She had earned recognition as a humanitarian and philanthropist. She died after a brief hospitalization. She was not in a serious condition but remained in the hospital for a couple of more days. She was a professional nurse and headed the Bilquis Edhi Foundation.
Her condition had stabilized earlier today, according to her relatives. She was taken to a hospital in Karachi and admitted for three days after her blood pressure rapidly fell. Bilquis had been ill for the past month, according to an Edhi Foundation spokesperson. Bilquis Bano Edhi had congestive heart failure and she has already gone through a heart bypass twice.
According to the Impact Hallmarks’ domino effect verdict, Bilquis Edhi was named the most influential person of the first two decades of the twenty-first century, a spokesperson for the Edhi Foundation disclosed. Bilquis Edhi was a nurse practitioner who ran the Bilquis Edhi Foundation. In April 1966, Abdul Sattar Edhi proposed to her, and they married.

May ALLAH rest her soul in peace and give her family enough strength to cope with this huge loss. Ameen.” Renowned Journalist Maria Memon wrote that Pakistan will never be able to pay off her debt.
