Wendy Kushel, from Bluffton, is striving to encourage other entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams as she herself believed that it’s never too late to fulfill your dreams. She gained popularity after she launched a sugar scrub business. Her business helped her to climb the ladder of success which otherwise would not possible.

Wendy Kushel is an owner of the Lowcountry Sugar Scrub business which she launched from inside her home. She along with a few helpers, strive hard to create, package, label, and ship hand and body scrubs. Kushel started her business just in August of last year, but to her, Lowcountry Sugar Scrub is about so much more than the sweet-scented products.

Low Country Sugar Scrub is a blend of luxury ingredients acquired from only the highest quality raw materials such as Sugar, Shea Butter, Organic Coconut Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Organic Argan Kernel Oil, Fragrance, Lecithin, Organic Rosemary Extract. Low Country Sugar Scrub is crafted, produced, and packaged in the Low Country of SC.

She admitted that until 2019, she had never thought of or tried a Sugar Scrub. She had no clue what it was or even that such wonderful stuff existed. Her friend suggested she try a basic Coconut/Sugar combo because she had spent the day at the beach and was experiencing a little dryness from all the glorious Low Country sun she had been soaking up all day, and that is how she came up with the idea to start a Sugar Scrub Company.

She wanted to prove not only to herself but also to others that if she can do it every one can do it. Kushel disclosed that she was engaged in a lot of different careers in her life. Now she is in her 50s, but she launched her business because she wanted to do this. So, she is living proof that it’s never too late to start a new business.

Furthermore, Kushel has worked as an actress, comedian, waitress, and more throughout her life. And now she is the owner of a business. Kushel revealed that she is pleased with where her business is now, but she has plans to grow. She gave the credit of her success to Lowcountry people. She said that the best thing she ever did in her life was to move to the Lowcountry.
