Actress and Producer Marilyn Eastman has lost her life at the age of 87. During her life, she had gained recognition for her role in George Romero’s 1968 horror film “Night of the Living Dead”. Her news of the death was verified by her son John Eastman. Her son confirmed that she has passed away.
Eastman was born in Iowa and later shifted to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she started her acting career. Her well-known screen credit is as ordinary wife Helen Cooper in Romero’s classic horror flick, but she also did makeup and served as a producer. Eastman has also acted in a 1960 episode of the “Perry Mason” detective series and a 1996 horror movie called “Santa Claws.”
Furthermore, after her passing her son paid tribute to his mother. He recognized her efforts in raising him and his brother as a single mother. He disclosed that he cannot exaggerate how much she appreciated the love and attention displayed to her by countless NOLD fans, and up until a few weeks ago, was planning personal appearances.
Additionally, he said that she has lived with her son Michael and me, 5 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren. Marilyn Eastman passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 87. It was her willingness to return to Pittsburgh and those plans are to be revealed at a later date.
