British fashion designer Phoebe Philo is all set to introduce her own brand. She has gained recognition as an expert in dressing. She is the designer whose work persuaded Joan Didion to stand for an ad and made her customers into groupies. Earlier, she has left her position as an artistic director of Celine three and a half years ago.

Now, she has finally decided to fulfill the demands of many females and is launching her own autonomous clothing and accessories line. The previous employer LVMH of Ms. Philo will own the minority stake in the new brand and Phoebe will fully exercise its control on her own brand.

In an announcement, she disclosed: “Being in my studio and making once again has been both interesting and strangely fulfilling. I am very much looking forward to being back in touch with my fans and people everywhere. To be free, to rule and explore on my own terms is hugely meaningful to me.”

Furthermore, in an announcement Bernard Arnault, the chairman of LVMH, termed the new venture an “entrepreneurial adventure.” Sixty years after Christian Dior reformed how women dressed in his New Look, Phoebe Philo did the same with the Female Gaze. Her high-class but modest Céline collections attracted women who cared about design but did not see themselves as decorative.

In addition to this, she initiated the casting of older models in her shows and employed Joan Didion to star in an advertising campaign. Like every great fashion designer, she had a mysterious talent for knocking the emotion with her clothes.
