US supermodel Chrissy Teigen has issued a lengthy apology for the online trolling. Earlier, she faced criticism for bullying claims against her by model Courtney Stodden. Previously in May, Teigen shared a series of tweets May apologizing to TV personality Courtney Stodden, who blamed her of online harassment.
Courtney has earlier agreed to accept her regret but said it could just be an effort to restrict the damage to Teigen’s status. In her latest post, she has shared on Instagram, she wrote a lengthy apology. Her apology post showed the weight of regret she is bearing for so long for saying bad things to others.
In her post, she disclosed that she is ashamed of the tweet she shared in the past. She said that she questioned how she could do this to others. Chrissy revealed that she looked at her tweets and realized that they are hurting. She disclosed that she has apologized to the one person publicly but there are more she has to apologize for. Chrissy revealed that she has privately reached out to the people she insulted in the past.
In addition to this, she said that she realized there is no excuse for her past horrible tweets. She wrote: “I was a troll, full stop. And I am so sorry.” She said that when she started using social media, she had so much fun. On regular basis, she used it to make jokes, random observations. Furthermore, she wrote: “Now, confronted with some of the things that I said, I cringe to my core.”
Moreover, she wrote that she is no longer the person she used to in the past. She is now mature and has got therapy and also got married. She said that her husband John told her that their daughter reminds him of her, and she is trying her best that her daughter becomes the best part of her. Lastly, she said that is not asking for forgiveness but for patience and tolerance. Chrissy asks people to give her the opportunity to seek self-improvement and change.
