Bill and Melinda Gates Decides to Part Ways


Bill Gates and Melinda Gates has decided to end their marriage after 27 years of marriage. The couple has disclosed that they thought that they can no longer be able to live as a couple. According to Forbes, Bill Gates rank at number four among the richest person in the world and possessed $124bn (£89bn).

They both took to Twitter and broadcasted their decision of divorce. The couple revealed that during their 27-years as couple they both shared three children and also established the foundation that serve all people around the globe to spend healthy, productive lives.

“We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue our work together at the foundation, but we no longer think we can live as a couple in the next phase of our lives. We ask for space and secrecy for our family as we commence to direct this new life, the couple further added.

In 1987 Melinda has entered Microsoft and served as the product manager. While working as a business partner they both decided to date each other. Once Bill disclosed that they both care a lot for each other. There were only two options for them. One is to part ways or to tie knot.

In 1994, they both tied the knot on the Hawaiian island of Lanai. They both remained as a couple for 27-years and shared three children. Last year, Bill has resigned from his position from the Board of Microsoft to focus on his philanthropic events.

The couple has founded the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 2000 in Seattle. The main focus of the foundation is on public health, education, and climate change. Its offers included some $1.75bn to vaccine projects and explore during the COVID-19 pandemic. Melinda earlier revealed that she and Bill both are equally serving the foundation.
