Stanford Defeated Arizona in NCAA Women’s Basketball

Stanford Cardinal has become the best basketball team after it defeated Arizona Wildcats in NCAA Women’s basketball final. Stanford has been conferred with their first title since 1992 after a thrilling 54-53 win.

Haley Jones has achieved 17 points and eight rebounds and became the Most Notable Player of the match. On the other hand, Lexie Hull broke in with a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double. Cameron Brink also scored 10 points, six rebounds, and three blocks. 

After the victory of Stanford against Arizona, they have got their third-every championship title. Stanford has last won the title in 1992. Throughout the game, Arizona Wildcats gave the impression that they would press the Cardinals in the game but at the end of the game, the Cardinals became the ones who crushed the Arizona Wildcats.

Stanford was the first NCAA basketball winner to be crowned in two years, since last year’s match was withdrawn in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Stanford is trained by fabulous Tara VanDerveer who became the all-time winningest trainer of the game in December.
