Chairwoman of General women’s union, H.H Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak has introduced the theme for Emirati Women’s day 2021. The theme of Emirati Women’s Day 2021 will be, “Women: Ambitions & Inspiration for Next 50 Years.”
The theme which H.H Fatima has introduced is in accordance with President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s declaration of 2021 as “Year of the 50th”. Emirati women’s day celebrations will be held on August 28. These festivities will mark the endless dreams of the Emirati Women and their struggles for a better future.
Sheikha Fatima holds a major interest in the matters such as motherhood, childhood, and the family. She has been striving for years to elevate the status of children and mothers on all levels. H.H. Sheikha Fatima has been bestowed with the title of ‘Mother of Sheikhs’ on International Mothers’ Day, 21st March 2005. Furthermore, she was also bestowed with the well-deserved title of ‘Mother of the Nation’.
We cannot deny the fact that Emirati women are possessing the key leadership roles in the country. They have been protected by the laws and legislation that bolstered their rights and promoted their cooperation in lawmaking, administrative, and managerial roles.
