Fortem MFI CEO Ann Usiagu-Muraina Believes ‘Empowering Women is Empowering Nation’

Ann Usiagu-Muraina who is the MD/CEO of FORTEM MFI disclosed the secret of her passion for women empowerment. She is striving to alleviate poverty in society through her organization. Her firm belief is that “when you empower a woman, you empower a nation.” She disclosed that she established a system for women which gives them chance to get a 60%of loan portfolio.

Fortem MFI is operating well and is assisting various clients in achieving their goals. FORTEM MFI is a membership-based institution licensed to run as a non-governmental Microfinance Institution. The main focus of the firm is on those people who are deserving but didn’t get a chance, farmers, wage-earners, and small and medium-sized enterprises.

The main aim of the firm is to run the business of Microfinance by offering services to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), businesses, wage-earners, people, companies, organizations, and low-income groups in Nigeria regardless of position. It is also offering credit facilities to its clients.

Ann Usiagu-Muraina disclosed that Fortem Micro Finance is providing its services to the poor and those people who are earning less in the society, who might not be able to access financial services from conventional banks. She revealed that the firm is established only with the aim to help needy people. Her firm is different from others because it provides Salary early payment loans, SME loans, Business Loans.

Ann Usiagu-Muraina’s desire is to constantly make a contribution to National Development as a professional and an entrepreneur. Her participation in the Fortem MR is a manifestation of entrepreneurial spirit and a way to provide support for individuals, businesses, involving small and medium scale enterprises.
