US congresswoman Ilhan Omar has shocked Pakistanis after giving a nod to Pakistani artist Atif Aslam. She took to her Instagram and disclosed her plan for this week. She disclosed that she will take over Spotify this week to honor Muslim artists all around the globe.
In her post on Instagram, she mentioned a group of artists including British singer Sami Yusuf, Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, and Rapper Riz Ahmed. Ilhan has not yet clarified whether she is a fan of Atif Aslam or she is just praising the work of a Pakistani artist.
Fans of Atif Aslam are excited to see their favorite singer getting praise on an International level and acquire a position amongst prominent names in the global music section.
