American singer-songwriter Halsey has shared the update with fans about their preferred pronoun. The singer disclosed that they are comfortable with either of the pronoun. Halsey recently updated their pronouns on Instagram and Twitter.
They took to Instagram and wrote in a story: “for those asking RE: my updated IG bio, I am happy with either pronouns :). the inclusion of ‘they’, in addition to ‘she’, feels most authentic to me.”
The singer further added: “if you know me at all you know what it means to me to express this outwardly. Thanks for being the best.” In January singer disclosed that they are expecting their first child with boyfriend Alev Aydin.
Earlier, Halsey talked about enduring a miscarriage in 2015 and the online abuse they endured after it. They also disclosed: “I thought pregnancy would give me very strongly, binary feelings about ‘womanhood’ but truly it has leveled my perception of gender entirely.”
