Grammy Awards 2021 Marked Multiple Wins by Women

The 63rd ceremony of the 2021 Grammy Awards became the first Grammy Awards that had witnessed the multiple wins of women. In the 63rd ceremony, all the women including Taylor, Beyonce, and Billie Eilish had made history. Beyonce became the biggest winner of the history-making Grammy Awards.

Beyonce has picked the awards for “Savage”, “Black Parade”. She has shared two of the awards with Megan Thee Stallion. Beyonce has marked history as she became the artist who got the most Grammy Awards. The host of the 63rd ceremony of the Grammy Awards was Trevor Noah. Beyonce became the most nominated female artist of all time after she got nine nominations.

Billie Eilish also made history as she became the first soloist who has won Record of the Year for the straight two years. She became the first to do so since U2 did for “Everything I Wanted.”

Taylor Swift who had delighted her fans with her new song this lockdown has won Album of the Year for “Folklore”. After winning the award, she became the first artist who took home this prize three times.

Furthermore, Dua Lipa has made history after winning “Pop Vocal Album” for her dance-y ‘Future Nostalgia’ and articulated the significance of music during difficult times. Dua said that she is delighted to get the award because happiness is something that we all deserve.
