Meet These Women Who Are Honored For Their Inspiring Efforts Towards Humanity

Date:

New Year Honours have acknowledged the noble efforts of Sarah Hope and Emma Jones who have dedicated their time towards helping society.

48-years old Emma Jones holds a degree in Law and Japanese awarded to her by Cardiff University and was raised by a mother who made an earning for her family by owning and operating several independent restaurants in the town.

After receiving her education she joined Arthur Anderson an international accounting firm and worked to establish its inward investment practice which managed to attract foreign companies to set up their business in the country.

In 2000 she found her own organization Techlocate and in 2006 went to open another firm called Enterprise Nation. She was presented with a CBE for her services.

Hailing from Market Drayton, Sarah Hope was recently awarded the MBA for extending a helping hand to amputee children and lending exemplary services for their well-being so they can support them in their journey to recovery and have access to all kinds of prosthetics including artificial arms and legs.

In 2007 Hope and her family went through a horrible accident which took her mother Elizabeth’s life and injured her 2-year-old so severely that she had to get her right leg amputated.

She and her sister Victoria decided to open a charity ‘Elizabeth’s Legacy of Hope‘ in memory of their kind and generous mother to help amputee children all over the world so they can enjoy a normal life and grow happy and healthy.

Transport for London has its incident report telephone service named after her and called the Sarah Hope Line and has recognized her contribution in helping the needy and underprivileged members of the community.
