Hailing from the state of Kentucky, Sharicka Holloway Sides has opened her very own tax agency in December. She has come up with a party theme for a grand opening celebration with a total of 10 employees on the 30th of January.
TRU Tax usually offers services like accounting and credit repair however Sharicka’s agency is focusing on tax return instead but will guide and direct customers who are looking for other facilities nonetheless.
After living for a few years in Georgia, the Lexington Senior High class of 2008 graduate decided to go back to her hometown to start her own business at 364 Dixon St. Sides shared that the reason she decided to go back was that she was offered to have her own company and because most of her customers are in North Carolina.
After passing out from school, Sides started handling her own taxes and assisted other family members and friends in filing returns and preparing documentation. She has much experience in the field as she has worked in the tax department of several companies in Alabama, Georgia, Ohio, and Texas, etc.
She said that the main reason for her wanting to pursue this profession is that she likes helping others and if her input can get her clients a refund and lower their fee then she is more than ready to do that for them and is something that makes her happy.
Apart from this job, Sides has partnered with her husband Kevin Sides. The two are jointly planning to open a catering business called Kitchen Konects, the details of which shall be announced later.
