Entrepreneur From Coventry Bags Young Innovator Award

Young Abbey Gregg from the city of Coventry in central England has been awarded the Young Innovator Award for her remarkable idea of manufacturing comfortable fabric for petite modern-day women.

The unique selling point of her brand Myreau is that it uses recyclable and natural materials for weaving and designing fashionable yet elegant clothes.

Sharing information regarding her label Abbey said that it looks forward to partnering with mills and factories that are at the forefront of sustainable production. Our objective is to be ethically responsible and transparent with our clientele in order to eliminate waste and fulfill our corporate social duties.

The 26-year-old was acknowledged for her efforts at the event that was organized by Innovate UK and the Prince’s Trust. Her win included a grant for 5000 Pounds, an allowance to cover living expenses, and one to one business coaching.

The program is known for recognizing and supporting young talent for their innovative ideas and provides them a platform where they can establish their own startups and turn their dreams into a reality.

It plans to continue rewarding individuals from diverse backgrounds and various ethnicities until 2023 and will keep on encouraging young minds to remain steadfast and trust their instincts.

Numbers indicated that this year more applicants appeared than any other year and exhibited an increase of approximately 87%. People between the ages of 18-34 are more eager to set up their own firms and are showing an interest in independent ventures.

Science Minister Amanda expressed that even though 2020 proved to be nothing less than challenging it did manage to shed light on Britain’s inventiveness and unleashed the entrepreneurial spirit harbored in its citizens, assisting in finding solutions and overcoming obstacles swiftly and efficiently.
