England Women’s Cricket Team Soon Visit Pakistan

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Pakistani Cricket Board (PCB) collectively told the press on Thursday that England Women be touring Pakistan for the first time sometime in October. The series will consist of 3 ODIs and 2 T20Is and will be played in Karachi.

The matches are scheduled on the 18th, 20th, and 22nd and will be held at the National Stadium.

This opportunity will allow women cricketers on both sides to showcase their skills and talents as well as entertain the audience with exciting and thrilling performances by all of the players.

It will also deliver a message of trust and confidence between the two boards of having the capability to successfully execute the competition in unfortunate and pandemic stricken circumstances.

Earlier the two teams came face to face in the Women’s International Twenty 20 event in the qualifying rounds in which England managed to gain victory by 42 runs.

The matches will aid in boosting Pakistan’s confidence and assist in polishing their abilities and bring improvement in their game.

The Board added that it hopes that this announcement will open new doors and increase opportunities for the Pakistani women’s team to participate in other tours and be a source of motivation to keep working hard and giving their best on all formats of the sport.

It emphasized that not will this be a great learning experience for our players but it will also be a source of empowering our girls and boosting their confidence. It will assist in fueling their ambition for the sport and motivate them to dedicate more time towards practice and training and be on par with other international teams.

Pakistan last hosted the English side in Malaysia in the ICC Women’s Championship 2017-2020 where it lost and miserably failed to win against its opponent.
