Google, Gmail, And YouTube Services Recovered After Major Outage

Date:

Monday morning witnessed the world’s most used search engine Google down for a good hour or so. Several of its services like Gmail, Google Maps, and the online video sharing platform YouTube were hit by an outage and caused problems to its users across the globe.

Some of the countries where services were out for a long period of time include America, India, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Australia, etc.

Issues started to surface in the early hours of the day around half past six ET and resolved around eight o clock when Google tweeted that the problem has been addressed.

It added that every single one of its products has been fixed and is back in business, up and running at the pace that it usually does. It posted, “We’re all clear folks. Thanks for staying with us.”

However, some individuals still could not log in and sent screenshots of their accounts being temporarily unavailable thus not having access to their emails and other important documents.

Team YouTube also tweeted to let its streamers know about the prevailing situation. It wrote, “We are aware that many of you are having issues accessing YouTube right now. Our team is aware of and looking into it. We’ll update you here as soon as we have more news.”
