American actress Ann Reinking lost her life at the age of 71. In the “Chicago” melody, Ann gained fame as Roxie Hart.
Her sister in law Dahrla King claimed that she expired on Dec 12, in her sleep while she was staying at a hotel in Seattle. The real reason for death is yet unknown.
Her family and friends devastated after the death of a well-known dancer.
“We’ve lost a jewel with a pure soul and a brilliant, gifted god person. She was a gem who brought joy to the lives of everyone in the family. We’re going to miss her a lot.
She has died in her sleep. Now she has to be in heaven and dance in the sky there. We will always remember Anne and have a lot of respect for her,” a family statement read.
She was born in Seatle and began her career and gained fame for her dance talent.
In 1978, she debuted in the film ‘Movie Movie’. She then played the role of Grace, Daddy’s secretary in the movie Annie. For her appearance in the biopic of All the Jazz’ by Bob Fosse, she received a lot of awards.
After her successful role as Micki in the best comedy film of all time, “Micki + Maude,” she then retired from her screen career.
In the popular melody Chicago as Roxie Hart in the 1990s, Ann then made a great return in her career to win everyone’s heart and was also a Tony winner for best choreography.
She has had the distinction of earning Tony Awards nominations for her famous roles in “Fosse,” “Goodtime Charley,” and “Dancin.”
