Here’s The Reaction Of Pakistanis After TikTok Got Banned

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has banned the Chinese app TikTok after it failed to filter out immoral and indecent content. TikTok became the top hashtag on Twitter in Pakistan after PTA banned the video-sharing Chinese app.

PTA revealed that the decision to ban the video-sharing app has been taken after the number of complaints from different segments of society against the ‘immoral and indecent’ content.

PTA disclosed that the video-sharing app has been given enough time for the development of an effective mechanism for proactive moderation of unlawful online content.

However, the application failed to fully comply with the instructions.

Pakistanis took to Twitter and shared their reaction after the app got banned.Β  Twitter got overwhelmed after the move of PTA, with some people sharing the funniest memes.
