WNBA star Maya Moore has announced that she has married Jonathon Iron, the man she helped free from wrongful conviction.
Basketball start Maya and Jonathon disclosed the news on ‘Good Morning America’. The couple revealed the details of their love story and how their friendship turned into unconditional love for each other.

Moore said that they both first met through a prison ministry program when she was 18-year old. But their romantic feelings progressed gradually over time.
Iron was wrongfully detained for burglary and shooting at the home of 38-year old Stanley Stotler. He continuously tried to prove his innocence and revealed that he was wrongfully identified during a lineup.
Moore has put aside her career and continuously striving to prove his innocence. Iron who was released from prison just two months ago is now 40. He spent most of his life in prison.
After fighting for many years, Iron finally got justice after a Missouri judge cancel his conviction and revealed that there was a problem in the investigation at that time.
When Iron was released from prison he proposed Moore and she said yes. They both started the new chapter of their lives.

They are currently focusing on spreading the word about local elections. The couple is trying to educate people about the voting process.
