US Midfielder Sam Mewis Makes Winning Start In Women’s Super League

American soccer player Sam Mewis has made a winning start in the Women’s Super League held in England on Saturday.

She is among the number one players who are selected for the series this year. She had played the full game and almost scored in second-half injury time in the city’s 2-0 victory at promoted Aston Villa.

The 27-year old player is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for the English FA WSL team and the US national team.

Mesi has won three championship titles with Western New York Flash and North Carolina Courage. Born in Weymouth, Massachusetts Messi had signed with Pali Blues in the W-League in 2013.
