Teenage Activist Labels Coronavirus A ‘Byproduct Of Us Mistreating Planet’

17-years old Enviormentalist Bella Lack from South West London said that coronavirus and other Zoonotic diseases are a byproduct of mistreating the planet.

Bella is the youth ambassador for The Born Free Foundation. She has opened up about her activism. She said that various studies have proven that the virus which originates from animals such as mers, sars, coronavirus are directly related to humans.

These viruses have the ability to destroy nature at a high rate. Environmental activist confessed that her work as an activist meant has had to take a year out of the school.

She said more we continue to weaken the natural world, more we weaken ourselves. Bella started campaigning and fundraising at just 11.

Bella argued: “We can be overwhelmed with the problem or fall in love with the solution”. She said the change is not going to happen overnight.

We have to change our narrative and struggle for a more circular economy. There is a need for more people who understand the issue of climate change.
