Businesswoman and American TV personality Tyra Banks will join ‘Dancing With The Stars’ as the new host and the executive producer. Tyra joined DWTS soon after Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews announced their departure.

Banks will collaborate with show executive Andrew Llinares to bring new energy in the show. Dancing with the Stars is an American dance competition TV series that premiered on June 1, 2005, on ABC.
“Dancing with the Stars” is the hit series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts.
The series averaged 9.1 million Total Viewers last season after 35 days of viewing across linear and digital platforms.
Tyra said: “I’ve been a fan of ‘DWTS’ since its beginning. The fun mixed with raw emotion, seeing celebrities push past their comfort zones, the sizzling dance performances.”
She said she is excited to work as the host and executive producer.
