18-years old Ria Michelle was found dead in a Manchester hotel room. She wrote a suicide note on her Instagram and then hanged herself in the hotel room.
Before committing suicide she also wrote a number of ‘goodbye letters’ in the note section of her phone. Ria had worked as a bartender at G-A-Y on Canal street.
Two weeks before her death she had been in the hospital after taking a paracetamol overdose. She didn’t tell her parents about the incident and discharged herself two days after as she wanted to work that night.
Her phone browsing history disclosed she had searched ways of death. Her friend also revealed she had given away some of her clothes and talked about that she wanted to die. But her friend had no idea she was serious at that time.
She was born in Salford but grew up in Leigh, Great Manchester. Ria had been living with her work friend Hannah Jordan.
