Sabrina Ionescu, one of the new talents in WNBA history has finally made the professional debut. She started making her way into the league record books on Saturday.
Sabrina is the no.1 draft pick of New York Liberty. She has made her WNBA debut with 12 points, six rebounds, and four assists as the New York Liberty reached 87-71 to league favorite Seattle on Saturday in Bradenton, Florida.
Before the game teams held a 26-sec moment of silence to remember Breonna Taylor who was shot dead in her apartment.
She scored her first point seven minutes into her debut. Sabrina has made a shot from the elbow and rebounded it for the layup to tie the game at eight.

In her debut, Sabrina has played for about 34 minutes but couldn’t continue her shot. She was 4 of 17 overall and missed all eight 3-point attempts.
In her talk with reported after the game, she said: “I’ll live with 12-6-4 in my first game against the best team in the league.”
“I definitely have to be more of a scorer especially with some of our best scorers out in my first game. 12-6-4 is something I’m going to live with,” she added.
