FNC Entertainment announced Saturday that Shin Ji-min, better known as Jimin has decided to leave AOA and the industry. Recently, former AOA’s member Mina has accused leader Jimin of bullying her for a decade.
The company released the official statement and apologized for worrying fans because of recent events related to Jimin. Agency declared that from this moment onward Jimin has decided to leave AOA and stopped all of her activities in the entertainment industry.
Moreover, the agency announced that they took all the responsibility of the current event and pledged to manage artists properly.
Mina has exposed the former fellow member by sharing a lengthy post on her Instagram. She shared the evidence of self-harm and shared how her fellow member treated her during her time in AOA.
Later, she shared that Jimin had apologized to her personally. She then shared a post related to Jimin. Mina revealed that Jimin was involved with a man in the shared dorm of the group.
Earlier, she disclosed that she remembered people calling her without the brain. She accepted she has no brain but she continued to work. Mina shared that she wanted to leave but she has the responsibility of her mother.
From a very young age she started earning and her family financial condition didn’t allow her to leave the entertainment industry.
Jimin is best known as the former leader and main rapper of AOA. She has debuted in 2012 under FNC Entertainment.
