SM Entertainment’s fandom app Lysn recently came under fire after Red Velvet‘s members received inappropriate messages. Red Velvet interacts with fans using the Lysn app ‘Dear U. Bubble’.
Artists and fans can send and receive messages to and from fans using the Bubble messages app. But recently Red Velvet has experienced sexual harassment on Dear U. Bubble.
Red Velvet’s Irene, Joy, Yeri, and Seulgi were all are using the bubble services to interact with fans. But recently, Irene and Seulgi both suffered harassment on Dear U. Bubble.
SM Entertainment also took action and shares the bans guidelines for Dear U. Bubble. Agency shared a post title ‘Guidelines for prohibited acts related to the use of the Bubble service.
According to the guidelines, any user who sends ‘bubble’ messages including inappropriate text, phrases, and indecent signs will be banned.
SM also disclosed that those users who send messages and tried to harass artists will be punished according to the law.
Dear U. Bubble is a subscription service on the app ‘Lysn’ allows fans to interact with their favorite SM artists and receives special content.
But the recent incident has raised the question after it was disclosed that the Red Velvet has been receiving the inappropriate messages from fans on the app.
