62-year old NHS nurse has died of coronavirus after sitting with the surgery patient who was later tested positive for coronavirus.
Dominga David worked at the University Hospital Llandough for 16 years. She was healthy and fit. But she has experienced cough and high temperature.
She was sent home because she was feeling unwell. But later she was admitted to the same hospital for six-days.
She has lost her life in the intensive care unit. The autopsy was not performed but the hospital consultant disclosed the cause of death as COVID-19, ischemic bowel, and hypertension.
Reports revealed that the CT scan was also carried out and the clinician stated that her condition was unsurvivable.
Dominga David was born in the Philippines and lived in Penarth. Ms. David was a loving lady.
It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of our colleague, Dominga David. Our thoughts are with her colleagues, friends and family.
She will be remembered as an exceptionally hard worker and a respectful, kind and compassionate person.
We will miss her greatly. pic.twitter.com/lzYfblMbW8
