5-year old girl Kenzie Lund broke down in tears after knowing she has to leave home for college. She asked her mom when she will live on her own.
Her mother responded: “When you turn 18 you will go to college and live wherever your college is”. Her mum’s response worried her and she started crying.
When her mom asked her why she is crying. Little girl replied: “I don’t want to go to college.”
She said she will miss her mom and dad. Her mother tried to make her comfortable and said: “Honey, you will go to college when you are 18.” She replied: “I know but I don’t want to go to college.”
Her mother Jessica asked her: “Why are you so sad?” Crying, Kenzie said: “Because I just want to stay here.”
Jessica further teased her and said: “Forever and ever with me?” She said: “Yeah.” Kenzie’s mom assured her she will stay with her mom forever and ever.”
Kenzie was born with multiple heart conditions and has been undergone three heart surgeries. She has been through one after hours when she was born.
Her mother said that she is a lovely and sweet daughter. She cared for her mother so much. The little girl has been through a lot in her life. She spent most of her time in hospital.
Kenzie has a permanent pacemaker, and she will have more surgeries in the future. Jessica made a Facebook page called Kisses for Kenzie- A Heart Warrior’s Journey. She updates people about Kenzie through her page.
She turned five today. Her mother shared a post to celebrate her birthday.
