People in Pakistan are demanding justice for 8-year-old minor maid Zohra Shah who was beaten to death by her employer on Wednesday. Zohra was tortured to death in Rawalpindi after she accidentally freed two expensive parrots.
Her employers allegedly beat her so severely that she eventually died. #JusticeForZohraShah becomes the top trend on Twitter as people are asking officials to take the notice against this brutal act.
We don’t know when we will stop asking Justice. We don’t know when justice will come to the door before asking. Pakistan’s constitution prohibits child labor and declared that no child below 14 years of age allowed to work in any factory or any other dangerous employment.
Zohra Shah was only 8-year old and she was severely beaten to death. Her only mistake was that she opened the door of the cage in which parrots were kept by her employers.
Celebrities are demanding justice for Zohra and took to social media and raised their voices.
Mahira khan tweeted: “Demons walk freely among us.”

Wasim Akram’s wife Shaniera also raised her voice for Zohra. She said people are breaking the law if they are taking help from minors instead of sending them to school.
ANYONE who has a person working for them in their house who is under the age of 14, & I don’t care if they are your longtime staff members son or daughter whos living with you, you are breaking the law.If you really want to look after that child then send them to school not work!
