International Cricket council declared the huge record-breaking success of women’s T20 world cup. It broke the viewing record for the last 2 leagues on the digital channel of ICC with 1.1 million views. The event took the league both within and outside the field.
The ratings were 20 times more than 2018, and 10 percent higher than that of 2017’s ICC women’s world cup cricket. Success rate makes the event as the most triumphant ICC event after men’s 2019 world cup.
Live viewers’ ratings were 473 percent higher than it was in 2018 in Australia. The final match between India and Australia witnessed 1.2 Million viewers in the live broadcasting history of Australia.
India Witnessed live stream ratings as 432 percent higher during the knock-out round while In South Africa it rose about 647,000–40 percent than that of 2018.
In the UK the viewers’ rating dropped just by 8 percent as compared to 2018’s league. Manu Sawhney, Chief Executive of ICC said, we are amazed by the overwhelming response of people all over the globe towards women cricket.
