Rose Paterson, wife of Tory MP and former cabinet minister Owen Paterson has found dead at her family home in Shropshire. He confirmed the news of his wife’s death.
She was the Chairman of Aintree Racecourse. Rose and Owen Paterson both were married for 40 years. They both shared two sons and a daughter.
Owen said that this is a very difficult time for his family. He also requested everyone to respect their privacy at this extremely difficult time.
Rose was appointed as the chairman of the Aintree Racecourse in 2014. She had been a part of the racecourse board since 2005. Aintree Racecourse also paid tribute to the late chairman and paid their condolences.

Jockey Club team also paid tribute to her and expressed their condolences after the death of their respected Aintree chairman.
Rose was chosen as the Steward of Jockey club in 2019. Sandy Duggan, a senior steward of the Jockey Club, said: “This is sad news and our thoughts have reached Rose’s husband Owen and everyone in her family.”
“Rose was an amazing person and she was involved in many aspects of our game. She was a skilled chairman and a valued member of our Board of Stewards. We really appreciated her contribution.”
