An Australian dietitian has disclosed a secret to a healthy lifestyle by following the few important steps. She shared the five simple tricks to lose weight in winter.
Dietitian Susie Burrell said you can shake the kilos without depriving yourself of foods you love with few simple tweaks.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most of the people spent their time indoor eating and watching TV which caused an increase in weight gain. By following a few tricks you can change your lifestyle.
The first way is intermittent fasting. Susie said that intermittent fasting helps an individual in weight loss without experiencing any extreme diet. She shared a simple 5: 2 approach which means you can consume a total of 600 calories for men. And 500 calories for women and then fast two days of the weeks.
Research also revealed that intermittent fasting can reduce one to two-kilo weight in each month. Dietitian Susie said that when we consume less it reset our hormones which in turn help in weight loss.
The second easiest way is to focus on low calories food. Susie suggested that when we consume low carb vegetables, soups, or salads it decreases overall calorie intake.
The third way is to do 30 minutes of walking a day. Just 30 minutes walk compensate for the lack of physical activity.
The fourth simplest way is to tweak your coffee intake. Dietitian suggested that replacing coffee with low calories tea will help you in weight loss journey.
The fifth way is to give yourself a cheat meal. “When you commit to several lifestyle changes, an equally important component is to allow yourself a meal or two off each week in which you can enjoy a meal or event without worrying what you are eating and drinking,” she said.
