2-year old girl Lara Coleman has suffered from life-threatening injuries as she fell from the window of the third floor on Bedford street, Portsmouth. Her parents hysterically rushed to aid her as she lay seriously injured on the street.
Residents of flats in Portsmouth, Hants disclosed that they heard the sound of something hitting the ground when a toddler fell from the window.
The toddler was immediately taken to the hospital after the accident on Bedford street. Lara’s neighbors revealed that her mother named Fran Coleman was taking bath when the heartbreaking incident happened. Her father Steve Coleman also rushed to help his daughter.
One of the witnesses Emma Reilly said that she would have died if the telephone junction box on the street below her window doesn’t present there.
Mrs. Reilly said she was busy in her work when she heard a strange sound. At first, she thought someone had been run over on the street but when she looked down the ground she saw the toddler lying on the ground.
She called her mom who was bathing and had a towel on her head. When her mom came to see what the commotion was. She was shocked to see her daughter lying on the ground with serious injuries.
Mrs. Reilly said she shouted to her ‘that’s your baby.’ She said Lara is a lovely and sweet girl. She heard two sounds one of which when she hit the metal box & another sound when she hit the ground.
Lara fell in front of the two 13-year old boys who are in shock. Lara also has an eight-year-old brother. Hampshire constabulary started an investigation to know the cause of her fall.
