English actress Sheridan Smith gave birth to a boy amid coronavirus pandemic. Sheridan revealed the news of her boy on Instagram and also shared the first glimpse of his tiny hand.
She wrote: “Our little man has arrived. We are both completely overwhelmed with love.” Sheridan first shared the news that she is expecting her first child with her fiance Jamie Horn in November. She also shared the picture of the blanket with an embroidery read: ‘Baby Smith-Horn.’
A few days earlier her fans praised her for her ’emotional’ depiction of a pregnant mother surviving in the lockdown during an episode of ITV’s isolation stories.
Sheridan Smith played the role of mother-to-be Mel who was heavily pregnant and has to give birth alone during the lockdown.
She immediately accepted the role after she was approached by Oscar-nominated writer and producer Jeff Pope.
Sheridan talked about her role and said that she is heavily pregnant. She is in isolation because of the pandemic. So she got a chance to make a drama which depicted the actual drama happening around us.
Actress considered herself lucky to have her fiancee by her side during the lockdown as compared to her character Mel.
