Heartbroken mother, Florette Johnson, revealed her battle with novel coronavirus and how she was forced to see her newborn on FaceTime. Florette experienced a non-stop cough on April 4, 2020, and when her condition deteriorated she went to the hospital.
When she reached there she was told that she had pneumonia in her lungs. When she was tested for coronavirus, sadly, she was COVID19 positive.
Florette was pregnant and she had coronavirus which increased her stress. Florette said that she has chosen previously she will not get cut again.
In the meantime, her oxygen level dropped and she made her mind for C-section. But fortunately, she gave birth to a baby without a c-section.
Florette said when she gave birth to her baby she couldn’t see her face. She was shifted to ICU when her health condition was serious. She saw her girl on FaceTime.
The doctor told her that her level O2 was lower than 60. She was told that she was dying and questioned her if she wanted to contact her family.
Hospital told her husband that she will survive for a few days on a ventilator. Ms. Johnson communicated with her family last time.
She said: “Honestly I didn’t shed any tears. Before they placed me on a ventilator I prayed a quick prayer that I left the kids with a yearning for God and wondered why to go through with blessing me with a baby I will never hold after she saved from the tumor.”
Ms. Johnson was placed on a ventilator on Wednesday & she rose on Monday. Luckily she survived. Florette thanked everyone who prayed for her.
