Favorite star of Gogglebox June Bernicoff lost her life at the age of 82. Production company Studio Lambert confirmed the news of her death.
Her death is not related to COVID-19. According to the sources, the star died of short illness with her family by her side at the time of her death on May 5.
She and her husband Leon was the first couple who was starred in Gogglebox back in 2013. Both contributed a lot to the success of the series in terms of work. They won the heart of their fans with their excellent chemistry in the first 10 series.
June & Leon was the loving couple and after the death of Leon in December 2017 she wrote the book titled ‘Leon and June: Our Story’.
They both spend their 60 years of life together and after the death of Leon, she was not alone. But their sweet memories were with her.
When she was 18 years old back in 1955 at ‘Teacher Training College’ she first saw Leon. In her book, she wrote everything about how they both fight for their wedding with parents, their happy memories, and their family life.
She was an excellent lady with a vivacious sense of Humour. Gogglebox Executive producer Tania Alexander paid tribute to her in the lengthy post. She stated that she will always be remebered by Gogglebox family.
