NHS call handler Kelsey Chambers tried to cheer herself up during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 19 years old from Newcastle applied fake tan cost £13, named ‘St Moriz Darker Than Dark’. The product is considered as the world’s darkest shade of fake tan.
But the results did not turn out as per her plan and ruined her original shade as well. She came to know about the disaster when the product did not come off after several times of her taking bath. She finally had to take a bath with bleach added in the water.
Kelsey ordered the lotion from an online website Pretty Little Thing. She was not satisfied with her pale complexion and thought that the tanned face goes better with every outfit.
According to Kelsey, she left the product applied to the skin for hours to get good results. But she was amazed seeing its disastrous results. The moment was hilarious for her when she thought of going out with such a ridiculous face.
She took it to Facebook showing people the results of using darker than dark tan lotion by posting her picture. The post was shared 4000 times on social media with 5000 comments. It seemed like she would never do fake tanning again.
But she told media that she still tans her skin but with appropriate shade.
