Feroza Younis Omar, an Afghan mother step forward to voluntarily feed 20 newborn babies after their mothers shot to death. The tragedy took place in the maternity ward of a hospital in Kabul in which 24 people murdered, the health ministry reported.
Feroza, who has 14 months’ child, works in economic ministry, has come to the front foot to help newborns get recovered. She said, these humanity destructors are everywhere and have been making people suffer from such attacks.
Three men showed up wearing police uniforms and turned the maternity hospital into a death ward on Tuesday morning. The attackers, before started firing, threw grenades towards the ward.
Khadija, the woman who survived the attack, told how the whole ward was converted to the war zone with smoke everywhere. She was not allowed to see his baby long after giving him birth. She was lucky enough to survive along with the baby as she hid under a table.
President Ashraf Ghani suspects the Taliban and Islamic State group for the incident. He directed the armed forces to act offensively not defensive when confronting such rebels.
Families of the 15 newborns were waiting for the decision to be taken about them on Wednesday.
Jannat Gul Askarzada, head doctor of Ataturk hospital reported that 20 babies were brought to the hospital. They sent the babies to the orthopedic treatment in children’s health hospital.
People took it to twitter to honor Feroza for her efforts with the hashtag of her name trending on the website. Many other women are now willing to follow their footsteps to assist the babies.
One woman, Aziza Kermani stated that she is ready to adopt one of the babies whose family cannot raise him. Another woman named Fatima is all set to provide her services to the babies.
