94-years old woman from Glasgow was found alone in her top-floor tenement flat. She was saved after five days without food as she had no one to get food for her.
Old lady hid for days because of the fear of catching coronavirus. Housing complex staff found her hungry during the round of building and took her to the Salvation Army and gave her a hot meal.

The Salvation Army has shed light on how much food they delivered during the health emergency in the country. The Salvation Army has recorded 63% dependence of households on food by government. Ten local branches reported a 174% increase.
Salvation Army’s leader disclosed that the country is moving toward a poverty tipping point. He said that currently, they are focusing on providing support to these families which are unable to fulfill their needs.
