30-year old Eltiona Skana has been charged with the murder of a seven-year-old girl. A little girl named Emily Jones was playing in the Queen’s park, Bolton when she was suddenly attacked by a stranger.
She was with her parents at the park and was taken to hospital but she succumbed to injuries. Police reached the crime scene and launched the investigation.
Acting senior colonial said that the incident was a horrible tragedy in his life he never dealt with. He said Emily was playing in the park while riding on her scooter when she was suddenly stabbed to death.
An autopsy report revealed she died because of a neck wound. Emily’s parents said she was their only daughter. She was full of joy, love, and laughter.
Eltiona Skana was detained from the scene. She was also charged with the possession of a bladed object. She was scheduled to appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 26.
