Areema Nasreen, the youngest nurse on the frontline in the UK has contracted coronavirus. She experienced soaring temperature, body aches, and a cough.
The mother of three had worked for NHS for 16 years and she has no underlying health issues. She was taken to Walsall Manor Hospital in the West Midlands after her condition worsened.
Ms. Nasreen was put on the ventilators in ICU. Areema was under the care of the medic who was working with her. When she contracted coronavirus her sister Kazeema requested people to take this illness seriously.
She said: “Areema is a wonderful nurse. She always helps others but she has now contracted this virus. Ms. Nasreen is seriously ill in ICU, on a ventilator and fighting for her life. I want everyone to know how serious this is. She is only 36 and has no health issues.”
Her sister further said that her sister is young but she is in a critical stage. She said that not only the elderly people are at risk. On March 12, she experienced a high body temperature and despite all the struggle, her body temperature could not bring down.
Areema’s family is not allowed to visit the hospital but the hospital staff updated the family about her condition.
Areema first started working as a housekeeper than a healthcare assistant and after that, she was qualified as a staff nurse. She loved to work at NHS and working there for over 16 years.
