23-year-old Charlotte Cope who devoted all her time to help people in the pandemic found dead at her home. Charlotte qualified as a paramedic two years ago and worked in Wales.
She worked for the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust (WAST). Cope died suddenly after completing her night shift on Monday. Two days ago she shared a post on social media and advised people to stay at home.
She took to Instagram and wrote: “Life sucks right now. I miss my family and weightlifting/training. I miss the freedom. But have to stay positive, dedicating all my time to the ambulance to help others in need at this time with my amazing colleagues. Stay safe everyone, please stay at home.”
Her colleagues paramedics discovered her dead after receiving 999 call. They paid tribute to her. Her colleagues said that’ she was a very promising and proud paramedic loved by all who knew her. She carried the weight of the world on her small sholuders for too long.’
Her fellow paramedic, Connor Quinn, collected £10,000 from fundraising to help her funeral in funeral cost.
