Maria Krier, aged 59, who accused the nursing home for hiding COVID-19 infected, passed away from the coronavirus.
The Massachusetts nurse left the Life Care Centre Job after got to know about the mismanagement of the center.
Krier made a bombshell disclosure. She reported that there was a lack of care for the patients who were showing symptoms.
10 deaths and 67 patients are reported at the medical center located in Nashoba Valley this Friday.
According to Krier, a woman was tested positive of the virus but no one got to know until she blew the whistle. She also lost her life two weeks after resigning from the job.
Kate O’Connor, regional Vice President, offered the condolence to her family and said we are with you in this hard time.
Our staff is contributing in the best way possible during this hard time the country is facing, he added.
During her interview over call, Krier said she’s passionate about her job but she cannot work for the frauds.
The rest of the workers and staff is also demanding for their tests to be done.
Krier’s colleagues are now scared after her death as the country is already experiencing a crucial situation.
According to the recent report, 22,800 cases of coronavirus are confirmed with 680 deaths.
