A 21-year-old mother-to-be, Samantha Thomas, from Meir, Staffordshire, died before seeing her baby girl. She suffered from chest pain and was taken to the hospital on April 02.
When her condition worsened doctors decided to perform C-section to save the unborn baby. But she died before seeing her daughter. Her daughter was given the name Zara. Doctors believed that she died of a heart attack because she suffered from chest pain.
Samantha passed away at Royal Stoke Hospital at 7 am. Her friend talked about her on behalf of her family. She said that Samantha was a lovely girl. She was very funny and caring. Samantha was so excited to meet her baby.
Andi Wall further said that she was there on her own. Her family has no idea about what happened. She was not in labour but doctors performed c-section to save the baby. Samantha family was in shock when they heard about her.
She said that it is clear that she didn’t die of coronavirus. Andi added that the current lockdown in the country added more pain to the family. Only 10 people attended her funeral.
Samantha’s friends said that baby girl Zara was in good health condition. She will grow up knowing how much she loved.
Andi also started a JustGiving page to help her family at the funeral. She has collected almost £800 and the target is £4000. She asked people to donate as much as they can to help in covering the cost of Samantha’s funeral and gave her a goodbye which she deserved.
A second page has been launched to raise £9000 to support the Zara as she grows up. Samantha partner shared the picture of Samantha and his daughter to paid tribute to her.
