American music sensation Selena Gomez announced that she will drop the deluxe edition of her new Album Rare on April 9. The singer revealed that she will donate $1 from every order of the new deluxe edition to the Plus1 COVID-19 Relief Fund.
The 27-year-old singer took to Instagram and revealed the deluxe edition of Rare will be available on Thursday, April 9, featuring new songs ‘boyfriend’ and ‘souvenir’.
Gomez also shared the cover art for the Deluxe edition of Rare. Singer shared the profile shot of her with the Rare tattoo on her neck. She also revealed in a post that how one could donate in the COVID19 fund.
Selena wrote: “The deluxe version of Rare, featuring ‘Boyfriend,’ ‘She’ and ‘Souvenir,’ is out April 9th. You can pre save it now and learn more about how to donate to the PLUS1 COVID-19 Fund.”
Selena shared a series of stories on her Instagram. She said: “Many of you know how excited I’ve been to release a new song called ‘boyfriend’. It is a light-hearted song about falling down and getting back time and time again in love. But also knowing that you don’t need anyone other than yourself to be happy.”
She added: “We wrote it long before our current crisis. But in the context of today, I want to be clear that the ‘boyfriend’ is nowhere near the top of the list of my priorities . Just like the rest of the world i am praying for the safety, unity and recovery during the pandemic”
