Sandy Brown from Michigan, suffered unendurable pain because of the novel coronavirus. She lost her husband and her only son within three days of one another.
Sandy’s husband lost his battle for life in the intensive care of the Detroit hospital. She and her son Freddie Lee Brown III,20, bid adieu to her husband who lost his life to coronavirus on March 26.
After the death of her husband her only son, Freddie was taken to hospital where he admitted to ICU. In the hospital, the devastating mother comforts her son by singing lullabies she sang for him when she was a child.
On March 29, three days after the death of Sandy’s husband her son Freddie also lost his battle to coronavirus. She said: “The pain was unimaginable and there is no word to describe my pain.”
Her pain further increased when she was unable to say a proper goodbye to them in their final moments. She was unable to comfort them because of coronavirus restrictions.
Now when she lost her entire family she was not able to hug anyone and describe her pain because of social distancing rule.
Sandy from Grand Blanc, northwest of Detroit is a property agent. She tied the knot with Freddie Jr. At the age of 40, she became pregnant and gave birth to her only son Freddie III.
She was a ‘miracle child’ for them because she suffered several miscarriages before finally conceiving. Freddie Jr. also underwent a kidney transplant and around mid-March, he started feeling unwell.
He was unable to consume any food or water. He was admitted to Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc Township.
His condition worsened & after having difficulty breathing he was placed on a ventilator during his stay in the hospital. Sandy was against the move. But her husband convinced her.
After three days he lost his battle of life. Sandy insisted to see the body of her husband. The hospital staff dressed her up in protective gear. She was able to touch his hair and bid adieu to him.
Just one day after the death of her husband her only son who has asthma suddenly fell ill. When her mother took him to hospital in few days he started feeling better.
Sandy was happy with his progress but his condition suddenly worsened. She received phone call from hospital and when she reached there he passed away and left her alone in this world.
Because of the fear of virus spread her Friends & family were not allowed to enter her house. She buried her husband and son on Friday.
Sandy shared her grief on her Facebook. She wrote: “‘I can’t even give them a proper burial. I just have to put them into a box and put them into a hole.”
