A 3.8 magnitude of the earthquake was recorded in the View Park-Windsor Hills area of L.A in the early morning of Wednesday. According to the US geological survey, its epicenter was about 2 miles from Baldwin Hills and Inglewood at a depth of 7 miles.
The Los Angeles Fire Department has conducted its survey to check for any damage. But there were no reports of injury or damage. Earthquake hit the area after midnight at around 12.03 am.
Los Angeles Mayor tweeted: “A 3.8 quake jolted the L.A. area tonight shortly after midnight. Our LAFD has activated to conduct its routine survey of the city to assess for any damages. City teams will continue to monitor.”
LAX also reported the Earthquake. But there is no report of injury or damage. The LAX airport tweeted: “An earthquake felt at LAX but we have no reports of damage or injuries. Crews are checking all facilities with no current impact on operations.”
