Countess of Wessex, Sophie, has been working as a volunteer preparing lunches for NHS workers who are fighting in the frontline.
British financier Ian Wace has organized the volunteer work to make the lunch for NHS workers in hospitals across Greater London including Barts, King’s, Epsom & St Helier.
Wife of Prince Edward, Sophie secretly worked with kitchen professionals once a week without any protocol.
Ian Wace’s team has been engaged in preparing 59,000 free meals a week, working 24 hours a day. This week Sophie helped the team in the packing of pre-prepared vegetables. She wore white gloves and a black apron with a mask on her face.
Society event planner, Peregrine Armstrong-Jones, first introduced this volunteer work to Countess of Wessex. He said that she has done extraordinary work and has been engaged in cleaning, cooking, and everything.
Sophie has done her work without any fancase. Staff members said that she is incredible. Volunteer team prepares two meals including lunch and dinner for workers.
The Countess of Wessex is the all-time favorite of the queen. She always engaged in charitable activities and worked for many community initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic.
